The Spinach Corn Roll is a BABA'S original — a crispy, golden roll packed with spiced spinach and sweet corn. It's been one of the most-loved items on our menu for decades and is now a must-try in Edmonton.
The Spinach Corn Roll was created in our Punjab kitchen in the early 1990s and quickly became a customer favourite. The filling is fresh spinach finely chopped and folded with corn kernels, ginger, green chillies and our house spice blend — wrapped in a thin, crispy shell and fried to a golden finish.
It's the perfect appetizer to share at the table — vegetarian, satisfying and bursting with flavour. The contrast of the crispy outside, the soft spinach-corn filling and our tangy chutneys makes every bite memorable. A favourite among vegetarian guests across Edmonton.
This is one of the dishes added to the menu by Kanwaljit Singh and his wife after they expanded the family business. You won't find it on most Indian restaurant menus — it's a Baba's signature, served the same way for over thirty years.
